Completed Los Angeles kitchen remodel by LA Kitchen & Baths with hickory cabinetry, a plaster range hood, and a tile backsplash

"Zack was hands-on from start to finish and always kept me in the loop. The bathroom remodel came out even better than I imagined, clean, modern, and finished right on schedule. It's rare to find a contractor this reliable and communicative."

Our Approach

We start every project by listening. Before we pick a tile or move a wall, we want to understand how you live in your home and what you want the finished space to feel like.

From there, we build a clear plan, handle the demolition, construction, and finishes, and keep the same team on site from start to finish. You will not get handed off between crews.

We would rather explain the right way to approach something than oversell a customer. That is how we have built this business since 2018.

The Team

LA Kitchen & Baths is owned by Zack Zotos, who oversees every project personally. With a CSLB license 1092383 and years of remodeling experience in Los Angeles homes, he brings a detail-focused, hands-on mindset to kitchens, bathrooms, and full interior renovations.

We keep the team small and consistent so communication stays simple and accountability stays high.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. LA Kitchen & Baths operates under California CSLB and carries appropriate insurance. That covers the work itself and the people performing it, and it means the permitting and inspection side of a remodel is handled by a contractor the city recognizes. If you want the license number for your own records, it is CSLB 1092383, and you are welcome to verify it before you sign anything.

What types of projects do you take on?

We focus primarily on residential remodeling and improvement projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, interior renovations, carpentry, tile and related construction. That covers full gut renovations, single-room remodels, and the finish work that ties a house back together afterward, such as drywall, plaster, trim, doors and millwork. If your project sits somewhere between those categories, describe it and we will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.

Do you use subcontractors?

Where licensed specialty trades are required, qualified trade professionals are coordinated as part of the project. Plumbing, electrical and similar work is performed by licensed trades, scheduled in the right sequence so nothing gets opened up twice. You still deal with one point of contact throughout, and coordination between the trades stays our responsibility rather than yours.

How far in advance should I contact you?

As early as practical. Scheduling depends on the size of the project and current workload. Reaching out before your selections are finalized is not a problem, because the walkthrough and proposal stage usually takes some back and forth anyway. Larger renovations need more lead time than a single room, so an early conversation gives you a realistic sense of when work could start.
